Pambula Markets

Sunday 10th June, 2018

2014.dec.PambulaTown3LOWPambula Market is held on the second Sunday of every month at the Recreation Reserve in Pambula Village. It’s dog friendly, is loaded with local produce and has everything from handmade jewellery and clothing to vintage trash’n’treasure.

Pambula is a coastal village around 30 minutes south of Tathra. Its peaceful lakes and idyllic river mouth are a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the 1800s following the discovery of gold. Shopfronts give a nod to that era, with bull-nose verandahs, a town clock and a general lack of tall neon signs.

Browsing the main street you’ll discover a pleasing amount of specialty shops, such as an artisan bakery and coffee roasters, whole foods, ethical street ware, gift ware and jewellery, quality art and picture framing and vintage collectables. You will also find the usual necessary shops such as supermarket, post office, newsagent, bank and real estate.

At the southern end of the main street, Panboola Wetlands offers a tranquil nature experience that is popular for birdwatching and photography.

Hours: 8am to 1pm.
