You will also find the usual necessary shops such as supermarket, post office, newsagent, bank and real estate.

At the southern end of the main street, Panboola Wetlands offers a tranquil nature experience that is popular for birdwatching and photography.

Candelo Markets

Sunday 5th August, 2018

Take a drive out to Candelo Village for the monthly Candelo Market held on the 1st Sunday of every month from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

It’s the largest market on the Sapphire Coast, with an abundance of stalls and a strong focus on locally produced goods and wares. Candelo is set on the banks of the Candelo River and with a population of just 300, you’ll be surprised by the local fare and busy events calendar.
