The Rodley’s family home on the edge of Tathra is the farm gate for the award-winning Sydney Rock Oysters. Stroll past over two decades of awards and memorabilia on your way to the custom built oyster shop out the back where you can have a yarn to Gary, Jo or one of the kids and even get a lesson in oyster shucking. Available December to June.
The oysters are grown in Nelson Lake, a thriving, shallow lake around 12 kilometres north of Tathra in Mimosa Rocks National Park. It opens to the sea via a beautiful sheltered Nelson Lagoon, a popular place for swimming, fishing and short bush walks.
